It’s important to note that Board Membership applications are directed to the General Manager before Tuesday 16 November 2021.  

 

The process for election to the board is as follows

  • at the commencement of the meeting all 7 current members will step down from their positions
  • the positions are declared vacant
  • nominations will be read out by the public officer
  • if there is an equal number of votes for a position a confidential ballot will be held for all members present at the AGM
  • the public officer will then announce the elected Board Members  

 

If you would like to become a member of Charlestown Caring Group please complete the attached form, the cost for becoming a member is $2.00 and this will then give you voting rights for major decisions that require membership voting. 

 

All staff, volunteers and visitors are welcome to attend the AGM.
